Weil Construction Project Receives National Attention
The nationally-syndicated Mass Transit Publication is featuring one of Weil Construction's latest infrastructure projects. On April 21st, 2021, Weil Construction broke ground on a new 18,000-square-foot maintenance facility for the North Central Regional Transit District. The new facilities include maintenance repair bays, equipment, vehicle wash bays, and a fueling station. The Mayor of the Town of Taos called the day "historic," adding that it was "opening a new chapter in history of progress for the district, and providing mobility for the people for the people of northern New Mexico."

2022 American Subcontractors Association
Large Project of the Year Award
Weil Construction was honored with a 2022 ASA Large Project of the Year Award for the new Lavaland Elementary School constructed for the Albuquerque Public Schools. The LEED Silver project involved the construction of a new ~30,000 sq. ft. building to house administration offices, a mini-gym, a library and computer lab, a full kitchen and cafeteria, an art and music classroom as well as teachers lounge and support spaces. Following the construction of the new facility, Weil Construction demolished existing buildings.
2022 AIA New Mexico
Distinguished Architecture Award
The City of Albuquerque's Singing Arrow Community Center was awarded with an AIA Distiguished Architecture Award. Weil Construction was honored to work with Cherry See Reames Architects, PC on this beautifully designed and highly successful project.
2021 Albuquerque Business First
Diverse Business Leader Award
Chris Weil, President of Weil Construction, was presented with a 2021 Albuquerque Business First Diverse Business Leader Award for his work in promoting and mentoring minority, woman-owned, and service disabled veteran owned small businesses.
2019 SBDC NM Star Small Business Award
Weil Construction was recently informed that the company will be honored as the “2019 PTAC Star Performer” in February 2020. The Purchasing Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) is a federally funded organization dedicated to helping small and minority businesses succeed. This recognition will honor Weil Construction as one of New Mexico’s leading small businesses at the conclusion of the state legislature in Santa Fe.
